EU: Amendement op PIM Verordening 10/2011 gepubliceerd

On 24 August 2016 Commission Regulation 2016/1416 amending and correcting Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. Among the changes are some changes in the definitions (Article 3) and the addition of a definition for hot-fill (point 19). There are also changes in articles 6, 11, 13, 17, 18, and the annexes.
Plastic materials and articles complying with Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 as applicable before the entry into force of this Regulation, may be placed on the market until 14 September 2017 and may remain on the market until exhaustion of stocks.
