Euromonitor report: Nederlandse verpakkingsindustrie
According to a new Euromonitor report, many Dutch consumers seek convenience which is boosting demand for smaller pack sizes. They are also very mindful of the environmental impact of the products they buy and are increasingly taking the recyclability of product packaging into consideration. Growing sustainable and environmental awareness is therefore a strong driver in shaping the activities of packaging producers.
As the retailing industry in the Netherlands is becoming increasingly competitive, thanks to well-developed consumer price consciousness, retailers are coming under increased pressure to offer greater discounts and achieve more efficient logistical and distribution operations.
