ISO norm voor reparatie van vlakke houten pallets

In November 2014 NEN-EN-ISO 18613 was published. This standard is intended to assist the process of repairing flat wooden pallets.
It specifies the maximum defects and damage allowed before a pallet shall be repaired, and defines the minimum repair criteria that shall be used. A distinction is made between the repair of pallets of known specification and the repair of pallets of unknown specification. It is applicable to wooden flat pallets repaired with wood based components. The maximum allowed defects and damage are described and annexes show examples of defects and damage which make the pallets unacceptable for use (World Packaging Standardisation Newsletter, januari 2015).
