Onderzoek van PwC en APICS toont manieren om duurzaamheid supply chain te verbeteren

The biggest barrier to the success of a company’s sustainable supply chain practices is a lack of leadership support, according to a survey of global operations executives on supply chain sustainability approximately 30% of operations executives said their company has a documented supply chain sustainability strategy, but only 17% of managers and below agreed. 76% of operations professionals said their companies’ focus on creating a more sustainable supply chain will increase over the next 3 years.
They also found that leading companies are increasingly setting goals that reach beyond organizational boundaries to include product, packaging, or sourcing goals (APICS Nieuwsbericht, 7 mei 2014).
