In a new report Technavio has announced the top 5 leading vendors for the global polyethylene packaging market. The top 5 vendors identified are Amcor, Bemis, Berry Plastics, Sealed Air and Sonoco.
The market is highly fragmented owing to the presence of several small vendors. Vendors compete on the basis of price, quality, innovation, reputation, distribution, and promotion. The intensifying competition is expected to prompt vendors to reduce prices of their products, which could have a negative impact on margins and market growth. The current market scenario comprises of companies of various sizes, some more specialized than others (Persbericht Technavio, 30 november).
