Verslag ISTA conferentie: Transportverpakking en e-commerce

From 7 to 9 of March 2017 the 6th ISTA European Packaging Symposium took place at the facilities of test institute ITENE in Valencia, Spain. The 2017 edition explored the changing challenges of transport packaging and especially the critical link between packaging and effective distribution of products in e-commerce fulfilment.
NVC director Michael Nieuwesteeg presented the work done in the international working group Web Retail Packaging that was started by NVC in 2014. Other speakers included Smithers Pira, RAJAPACK, UPS Deutschland, Tokyo National Museum, Sealed Air, IKEA of Sweden, DS Smith-Tecnicarton, Dow Europe, HP, Coca Cola European Partners and of course ISTA and ITENE.
