Wereldmarkt beschermende verpakkingen tot 2021

In a new Freedonia report the global demand for protective packaging in e-commerce applications is projected to increase 9.6% per year to $7.8 billion in 2021. This is the fastest growing market for protective packaging. Flexible products such as air pillows, paper fill, bubble packaging, and mailers are expected to be the main product beneficiaries of this growth.
Growth for e-commerce is expected to be fastest in developing regions, including Asia, parts of Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South America. China has quickly become one of the largest markets in the world, and growth will continue as income levels rise and Internet access expands (Persbericht Freedonia, 24 mei 2017).
