Wereldmarkt biokunststof verpakkingsmateriaal 2015-2019

The global bioplastic packaging material market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 23.75% and 22.52%, in terms of revenue and volume, respectively, from 2015-2019, according to a new Technavio report.
Growing environmental concerns and the need to reduce pollution have led to an increased emphasis on the use of recyclable and biodegradable materials for packaging, especially the use of plastic resins derived from renewable resources. Bioplastic packaging products are considered more sustainable than conventional plastic packaging products as they consume fewer natural resources, and help lessen our dependence on dwindling fossil fuel supplies (Persbericht Technavio, 20 maart 2015).
