According to a new report by Stratistics MRC the global bulk container packaging market is accounted for $3.07 billion in 2015 and is expected to reach $6.19 billion by 2022 growing at a CAGR of 10.5% from 2015 to 2022. Increasing international trade and high operational & cost efficiency offered by Flexitanks will drive the market growth. However, the instability in the raw materials prices and fluctuation of crude oil prices will hinder the market growth.
Flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) commanded the largest segment followed by Flexitanks. The food and beverages segment is expected to witness a significant growth during the forecast period.
