According to a new Transparency Market Research report the global caps and closures market was valued at US$36.23 bn in 2014 and is projected to reach US$51.57 bn by 2021, expanding at a CAGR of 5.2% from 2015 to 2021. In terms of volume, the global caps and closures for food and beverages market stood at 1342.2 bn units in 2014 and is expected to reach 1702.1 bn units by 2021, expanding at a CAGR of 3.5% over the forecast period.
In terms of volume and revenue, Latin America is the fastest growing market. This market is estimated to expand at a CAGR of 7.2% and 6.1%, respectively, during the forecast period (Persbericht Transparency Market Research, 9 september 2015).
