Wereldmarkt kunststof foodverpakkingen 2017-2021

According to a new report by Technavio, the global plastic food container market is expected to grow at a CAGR of close to 5% during the forecast period, 2017-2021. The top three revenue contributing product segments are meat, dairy and bakery products.
The meat products application segment is projected to be the fastest-growing segment. The rising preference for frozen foods is anticipated to propel the demand during the forecast period. The rising dairy product output, especially in the global growth of yogurt, packaged cheese, ice cream, and other frozen desserts is the fundamental driving force behind the growth of the market for dairy products (Persbericht Technavio, 19 april 2017).
