Goed verpakt – minder retouren

The EHI study Shipping and Return Management in E-Commerce 2016 examines the requirements, trends and strategies of the online retailers from a logistics point of view. 112 online retailers were surveyed. More than half of them are active as online, as a multi-user, cross-dealer or omni-channel dealer.
Examined were the strategies for the shipping packaging, the delivery speed, the selection of a delivery variant or a delivery time window, the tracking of the purchase order and the delivery conditions as well as the return avoidance and the return management. The study shows the current status quo as well as developments with respect to earlier studies (Persbericht EHI, 15 december 2016).
