LT: Voorstel aangepaste targets verpakkingsafval gepubliceerd

The Government of Lithuania has published draft revisions to its current schedule of recycling rates for packaging waste that would put the country on pace to meet EU targets. The revised targets are:
Glass packaging – 2016 – 65%, 2018 – 68%, 2020 – 70%; Plastic packaging - 2016 – 50%; Metal packaging - 2016 – 70%, 2018 – 75%; Paper and Cardboard packaging – 2016 – 90% for collection and 85% for recycling and Wood packaging – 2016 – 15%, 2018 – 20%, 2020 – 25%. For reusable packaging (including glass, metal, PET and other plastic containers) the rates are 2016 –70%, 2017 –75%, 2018 –80%, 2019 –85%, 2020 –90% (Recycling Laws International, 12 februari 2015).
