Specificeren van mengsels van PP en PE recyclaat

When finalized, ISO 18263 for mixtures of PP and PE recyclate derived from PP and PE used for flexible and rigid consumer packaging will consist of 2 parts. Recently NEN-ISO 18263-1 was published. This part establishes a system which can be used as the basis for specifications for mixtures of PP and PE recyclate. The types of mixtures of PP and PE recyclate are differentiated from each other by a classification system based on appropriate levels of the designatory properties: composition, melt mass-flow rate, density and colour.
Part 2 concerning the preparation of test specimens and determination of properties is expected soon (World Packaging Standardisation Newsletter, oktober 2015).
