According to a new market report by Persistence Market Research (PMR), the global market for BOPP films for packaging is expected to witness a CAGR of 6.0% from 2017 to 2025. In 2017, the market was worth US$ 13,669.4 Mn and is expected to touch a valuation of US$ 21,736.5 Mn by the end of 2025.
The growing demand for packaged food across the globe has propelled the need for BOPP films for packaging. Regions such as Western Europe and North America embody the mature markets. The global market has been perceiving outstanding growth in emerging economies such as China and India fueled by the expansion of the flexible packaging industry in these countries (Persbericht PMR, 14 maart 2018).
