According to a new report by Stratistics MRC, the global laminated labels market is valued at $80.39 billion in 2016 and is expected to reach $124.04 billion by 2023 growing at a CAGR of 6.4 % from 2016 to 2023. Increasing demand for labels in food & beverages, pharmaceutical industry and other consumer goods is fueling the market. However, cost of raw material and printing on the packaging is limiting the market growth.
By application, the food and beverages segment has the major market share followed by pharmaceuticals. Asia Pacific has the largest market share because of increasing end-user applications. The key players in the market include Avery Dennison, CCL industries and Coveris.
