According to a new report by MarketsandMarkets (M&M), the stand-up pouches market is projected to reach USD 33.4 Billion by 2020. The Asia-Pacific region is projected to grow fastest from 2015 to 2020. The Asia-pacific region accounted for the highest share of the total market value in 2014, followed by Europe and North America.
The stand-up pouches market has been growing with the growth of the global flexible packaging industry. With increasing demand for light weight, compact, and sterilized packaging solutions, stand-up pouches have replaced rigid packaging solutions for many applications. Food & beverages accounted for the largest share in the stand-up pouches market in 2014.
